Onsite Activities
On-site sessions
are generally best in ½ day or 1/3 day (2 hour) sessions.
Two ½-day activities or three 1/3-day activities can be combined to make a whole day.

Offsite Activities
Off site activities are mostly best as ½ day sessions. Some can be combined if they are in the same area (such as weaselling and climbing), or balanced with a half day on site session. The transport implications need to be considered..

Visits
Visits are generally 2 hour sessions and can be combined to make a day's activity (such as Pooles Cavern and a swimming pool visit in Buxton), or combined with another ½ day activity on site. Again, transport implications need to be considered.
