MLTE courses
Here at Thornbridge we offer both training and assessment courses for the MLTE Walking Group Leader Award (WGL) and Mountain Leader Award (ML) schemes.
For individuals and small groups we run a number of courses at set dates – for more information click here.
If you have a group of 4 or more that require WGL or ML training or assessment we may be able to organise a course specifically for you. Please give us a call on 01629 640491 or fill in our enquiry form to let us know you requirements.
Designed for you
Here at Thornbridge Outdoors we have the facilities, staff and flexibility to design and run courses specifically for your group.
For example if you are running DofE expeditions only in normal country (i.e. not Wild Country), then the above courses may not be the most appropriate for you and/or your helpers. You may however want us to design and run a course for your group of volunteers that covers emergency procedures, normal country navigation, campcraft and the basics of teaching navigation to groups.

On Sat 15th Sun 16th October Thornbridge hosted the Alpkit Big Shakeout - the site was busy with climbing, biking, family days, film showings, music and much more.
