Group Leader Training
A course aimed at all staff involved in leading visits on the purpose, planning and risk management of educational visits.
Course objectives:
- To familiarise participants with current good practice in the supervision of young people on educational visits.
- To raise awareness about key guidance documentation and sources of advice and support.
- To provide training in risk management.
- To demonstrate strategies for the management of risks in specific environments.

First 'Rock Action' course is a great success!
Seven young people from across the UK joined Katherine Schirrmacher, Jules Barratt and Jill Whittaker (from Thornbridge), for a week's climbing in the Peak District and the first ever Rock Action course.
Creative Art in the Outdoors
Thornbridge have hosted 3 creative arts workshops this summer for Sheffield schools, in partnership with SAE (Sheffield Arts Education).
