An essential training course for staff who fulfil the EVC role in schools. Every school should have a trained EVC.

Group Leader Training

A course aimed at all staff involved in leading visits on the purpose, planning and risk management of educational visits.

Course objectives:

To familiarise participants with current good practice in the supervision of young people on educational visits.
To raise awareness about key guidance documentation and sources of advice and support.
To provide training in risk management.
To demonstrate strategies for the management of risks in specific environments.

1 day
