Group Leader Training

A course aimed at all staff involved in leading visits on the purpose, planning and risk management of educational visits.

Course objectives:

  • To familiarise participants with current good practice in the supervision of young people on educational visits.
  • To raise awareness about key guidance documentation and sources of advice and support.
  • To provide training in risk management.
  • To demonstrate strategies for the management of risks in specific environments.

Duration:
1 day

Cost:
£50 to Sheffield LA staff
£100 to others
