Outdoor Education - SchoolsThornbridge Outdoors can run a skills course to suit the needs of you and those of your group.

In addition to the Rock Action course below rock climbing skills training can be arranged for individuals, couples or small groups and will be designed to meet the specific needs of those involved.

Rock Action (improver course for young people)

A 5 day rock climbing improver course for young people to be run in partnership with "Love to Climb".  The course will be directed by Katherine Schirrmacher, an experienced coach, instructor and successful climber in many aspects of the sport.

Duration:
5 days.

Cost:
£450

Monday 30 August 2010 - Friday 3 September 2010.

  • Aged 12-17 years old

First 'Rock Action' course is a great success!

Seven young people from across the UK joined Katherine Schirrmacher, Jules Barratt and Jill Whittaker (from Thornbridge), for a week's climbing in the Peak District and the first ever Rock Action course.

Thornbridge have hosted 3 creative arts workshops this summer for Sheffield schools, in partnership with SAE (Sheffield Arts Education).
