Designing a Programme
Remember – we are here to help you make the most of your time at Thornbridge. We would like to be involved in the development of your programme as well as in its delivery. We will let you know about new and different opportunities as well as the combinations of activities that seem to work best.

STEP 1
Decide on your objectives for the visit, such as personal development through adventure, contact with the environment, learning new skills, art projects… or any combination of outcomes.

STEP 2
Think about the balance of the course. A mixture of active and passive elements, outdoors and indoors, 2 hour or whole day sessions, team and individual, challenging and simply fun, familiar and unfamiliar etc.

STEP 3
Bearing in mind your staffing (numbers and experience), what is the maximum group size you will consider?

STEP 4
Make a list of the key elements you would like to include and use these to form the basis of the course programme.

STEP 5
Contact Sharon Abbott to discuss your programme before you go any further!
