Facilities:
In addition to the two self-catering residential units - the Farm and Lodge (which can be booked together or separately) we have:

Onsite parking.

Three large rooms suitable for training, meetings (including AGM’s) and gatherings.

Lockable bike storage and bike wash.

A campsite for up to 40 people with optional use of a kitchen and dining room.

55 acres of grounds.

Over 1km of onsite cycle trails including a purpose built skills area.

Location:
Thornbridge Outdoors is located in the heart of the Peak District, a few miles outside Bakewell, with fantastic biking, walking, climbing and caving areas nearby.

Biking near Thornbridge:
Thornbridge backs onto the Monsal Trail which currently allows gentle cycling to Bakewell and links up to more demanding off road routes. Building works are ongoing to reopen the tunnels which will enable groups to walk or cycle from the site to Bakewell and Buxton through spectacular countryside (due to open summer 2011).
Mountain biking around the Ladybower, Derwent and Howden reservoirs is popular with visitors to the area. Parking and bike hire is available near Fairholmes Visitors Centre. Click here for more information.
Road cycling is popular is the Peak District with its varied road, amazing scenery, challenging hill climbs and plentiful cafes!
