Thornbridge Outdoors Day Bookings
At Thornbridge we are able to accommodate day groups as well as residential groups. Activities can be delivered at Thornbridge (depending on availability) or off-site at another outdoor venue. Please complete the enquiry form or call us on 01629 640491 to request further information.
Thornbridge Outdoors Residential Bookings
We are changing the bookings process for Thornbridge Outdoors.
Up until now we have had a bookings application system that has run on an annual basis.With immediate effect you will be able to book to secure your next visit for up to 3 years in advance. We believe that this will help schools to plan for the best outcomes for their young people,and will also allow us at Thornbridge Outdoors to plan ahead and manage our resources more effectively.
What does this mean for you?
- You may request a booking for any date in the future at any time. (We will accept bookings up to 3 years in advance)
- We will then send you a Booking Confirmation form after which a deposit will be required within two weeks to secure the booking. (Prices for the following academic year will be confirmed by 30th April of the proceeding academic year.)
- Winter discounted rates will continue to apply (exact dates will be advertised on the bookings information page of our website).

Thornbridge Outdoors at Underbank
Please click here for more information about Thornbridge Outdoors at Underbank, our day centre near Stocksbridge which offers watersports and climbing activities.
Underbank offers instructed activities from April to the end of October and the centre and its facilities are available to hire throughout the year.
Making a booking:
Bookings at Thornbridge Outdoors at Underbank can be made at any time.
We recommend making bookings well in advance to ensure that you can have the programme of activities that you want. We will however do our best to cater for your group, even at relatively short notice.

Booking:
Once a programme/your requirements and date(s) are decided we will send you a booking form.
To confirm your booking the form needs to be returned, with a cheque or purchase order for a £100 (+VAT if applicable) non-refundable deposit.
Payment:
The balance of the payment can be made by cheque or an invoice (or journal transfer for SCC groups) can be arranged.
Prices 2011:
For large groups (more than 40 people) or unusual programmes please contact us to discuss your requirements.

Alpkit Big Shakeout - what a weekend!
On Sat 15th Sun 16th October Thornbridge hosted the Alpkit Big Shakeout - the site was busy with climbing, biking, family days, film showings, music and much more.
