Thornbridge Outdoors Day Bookings
At Thornbridge, we are able to accommodate day groups as well as residential groups. Activities can be delivered at Thornbridge (depending on availability) or off-site at another outdoor venue. Please complete the enquiry form or call us on 01629 640491 to request further information.
Thornbridge Outdoors Residential Bookings
As Thornbridge is part of Sheffield City Council we give priority to Sheffield LA Schools.
The timeline below is to give you a guide as to the booking procedure for Sheffield LA Schools, however if you miss the timescale, please call or fill in the enquiry form.
February
All Sheffield LA Schools are sent a booking request form where they can apply for dates for the following academic year.
March
Schools return booking request form to Thornbridge.
April
Thornbridge will notify Schools of allocated dates.
Schools confirm dates allocated by returning acceptance slip with deposit.
May
By mid May any free dates can be offered to Non LA Schools / Organisations.
If you haven’t visited recently, you will see from the Newsletter and other areas of our website that we are continually developing the facilities and will have even more to offer schools next year.
Sheffield LA Schools
Approximately one term before your visit we will send you the joint LA Approval and Booking Information. For those who want to plan ahead you can download a PDF version or a word version. It is a requirement for all Sheffield Schools to have their visit approved even if it's just an overnight D of E group (for further information regarding LA visits visit the Educational Visit’s Advice section).
