Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

Thornbridge Outdoors can provide the perfect venue for your continuing professional development (CPD), with a 55-acre site in an idyllic setting, in the heart of the Peak District.

Thornbridge provides training and assessment courses for the following:

  • First Aid (2 hour, 4 hour, 8 hour, and 16 hour courses)
  • Rock Climbing (MLTE Single Pitch Award)
  • Hill Walking (MLTE Walking Group Leader Award / Mountain Leader Award)
  • Mountain Bike (OTC Levels 1 and 2)
  • Caving (BCA Local Cave & Mine Leader)
  • Educational Visit Co-ordinator Training
  • Group Leader Training (for staff involved in leading educational visits)
  • Low Ropes Training (for staff leading low ropes sessions at Thornbridge)
  • Thornbridge Familiarisation (for leaders who plan to bring a residential group to Thornbridge)

Alternatively, why not hold your CPD training course / event in a pleasant environment away from the pressures of work. You could also combine your own training with a local walk or even teambuilding / outdoor activities, if appropriate.

We can provide a venue for a day or multi-day event with
