Our Grounds 

We are fortunate to have 30 acres of grounds at Thornbridge Outdoors, including:

• Open areas for games and camping
• Woodland areas for activities and protection from the wind
• Onsite car park for 26 cars
• Overflow car park for approximately 32 cars (weather dependent)
• Low ropes course
• Den building area
• High ropes activities
• 850m cycle trail around the site, that is also suitable for wheelchairs
• Dedicated bike skills area and challenging rock garden
• Pond
• Orienteering courses

A variety of activities are available on site and in the surrounding area of the Peak District.

Please note that no dogs are allowed on site (except for trained, registered assistance dogs).

Bike Trails

Onsite we have an 850m bike and trike trail which is an easy loop around the grounds with a gentle gradient; it is suitable for young children.  This leads onto a pump track with a skills area to practice bike control and increase confidence when on a biking session with one of our instructors.  In the woods we have a technical rock garden for the more advanced cyclist (to be used with a qualified coach only).
