Summer term 2025 last minute availability
Having summer term availability at this time of year is very unusual and is due to a combination of some late cancellations and the pattern of some schools’ bookings. An unusual opportunity for schools to squeeze is some fantastic outdoor adventures for their young people!
We have the following last-minute summer term availability for school residential:
Indoor accommodation
Mon 2 – Wed 4 June – Farm House- Mon 9 – Fri 13 June – Lodge
- Wed 18 – Fri 20 June – Lodge
- Wed 2 – Fri 4 July – Lodge
- Mon 9 – Wed 11 July – Lodge and Farm House
- Mon 14 – Wed 16 July – Lodge and Farm House
Bell Tent Village and Base Camp
Mon 2 – Wed 4 June- Mon 30 June – Tue 1 July (1 night)
- Wed 2 – Fri 4 July
Accommodation
The Lodge and Farm House both sleep up to 38 and whilst they work well with groups of up to 32 you can have sole use of your own accommodation building with groups of as few as 20 young people.
Our Bell Tent Village comprises of 9 bell tents which can sleep up to 50 people, and can again be booked for sole use by groups of as few as 20 young people. The tents come with use of a dining room, kitchen and are a great way to introduce young people to camping.
Lots of options
We offer lots of flexibility to match your needs:
- Self-catering or catered
- 2, 3 or 5 night residential
- Activity programmes can be fully instructed, a mixture of instructed and self led or fully self-led
- Different combinations of accommodation to match the size of your group
Support available
We appreciate that it is relatively short notice for the above vacancies and that many schools’ plans will already be set for the summer, but if you are interested please get in touch for more details. We are keen to support schools and can help by:
- Phone calls, web meetings, or face to face – at school or the centre – meetings to quickly discuss plans, devise a brilliant programme and confirm costings
- Being flexible on payment deadlines
- Supporting parents’ meetings – including by an instructor attending if that would be useful
- (Sheffield schools only) Booking Sheffield City Council minibuses for travel to and from the centre – an affordable alternative to coach travel
