Start of a new academic year
We hope everyone has had a great summer holiday, here at Thornbridge Outdoors we have hit the ground running this academic year.  Already we have trained 42 school staff in first aid, run an INSET day for 3 different schools totalling around 200 school staff and had our first school residential of the year arrive
John Muir Award in Schools – One Day Course
This one-day (09.30-15.30) introductory course is for teachers, head teachers, classroom assistants, pupil support and youth workers, community learning staff, and all who support outdoor learning. It explores the relevant skills, knowledge and approaches needed for delivering the John Muir Award in a schools/education/curriculum context. The John Muir Award is suitable from upper primary level
Bespoke CPD for School Staff
We ran a few very successful OEAP Outdoor Learning Cards courses this March for Sheffield School staff. Look at how enthusiastic they look- ready for the orienteering and den building section of our 3rd course.
