Sky Ropes

We would like to wish you all a restful Christmas and hope 2018 fulfils all your dreams and ambitions.

It’s been another busy year here seeing the completion of our new accessible building Woodlands which has already received many positive reviews from a wide variety of groups. 2 The Woodlands cottage has also undergone a makeover and is now being let out to family groups for short Peak District getaways.

Continuing our work with local universities we have delivered introduction days for new students, facilitating leadership residential’s and creative writing weekends. The bulk of our term-time residentials continue to provide Sheffield primary schools with high quality outdoor experiences, but we have also delivered a number of bespoke INSET daysfirst aid courses and Outdoor Learning Cardscourses for staff.

We are excited to have recently become a British Cycling accredited centre and have since hosted our first Level 2 Mountain Bike Leadership Training course with more open course dates set for 2018. In partnership with our friends at Alpkit and the Alpkit Foundation we have also started delivering School of Adventure (SofA) courses which to date have included family weaseling, mountain bike rides, caving, climbing and navigation skills. Keep an eye out on social media for 2018 courses.
